Women in Klaten: They’re Survivor, also Volunteers #KLT #Merapi

These women are not merely volunteers, but also survivors.

They’re came from Sidorejo Village, Deles, Kemalang, Klaten, Central Java. Right now, they’re stayed at STIKES Wedi, Kemalang. Facilitated by Forum of People Organization of Klaten, they’re working to provide meals and beverages for all alternately.

One of women said, “here are their family. Those volunteers are our sons and daughter. We’re working here as if we’re used to work in our own home.”

These pictures had again showed the vigilante of women in time of disaster cause crisis like what had happened in Merapi. (Syamsul/Yakkum)
